De la Ruche à l'Olivier is an educational platform focused on artisan honey production and beekeeping knowledge from Egyptian apiaries. The platform is operated from Alexandria, Egypt. We publish informational content about honey varieties, harvesting methods, quality indicators, and beekeeping practices for enthusiasts. We do not engage in commercial food production, product sales, or certification services.

For the purposes of Egyptian Law No. 151 of 2020, De la Ruche à l'Olivier is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

We collect two categories of data:

Information you provide directly: When you use our contact form, you may submit your full name, email address, telephone number, your selected inquiry subject, and the content of your message. This data is submitted voluntarily.

Technical and usage data: When you visit our website, standard web server logs and analytics tools may record your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time and date of visit, and time spent on pages. This data is collected automatically and is not directly linked to your identity unless you also submit a contact form.

We do not collect sensitive categories of personal data as defined under Egyptian Law No. 151 of 2020, including health information, biometric data, financial data, or religious or political beliefs.

3. How We Collect Data

Contact form data is transmitted directly to our registered email address when you submit the form. The transmission uses the mailto protocol and is handled by your own email client.

We do not use third-party lead generation tools, data brokers, or purchased contact lists.
